📌 The Bradley Bulletin: "In a time of universal deception, telling the truth is a radical act"

If defending our children, our values, and our future against the Left’s agenda makes me a radical, you will find me standing tall, fighting for what's right.

Friends and Supporters,

This past week, my stance on protecting our children went viral, capturing attention from major outlets like The New York Post, Newsweek, Daily Mail UK, and local talk shows like The Jeff and Bill Show, The Mandy Connell Show, and The Dan Caplis Show. As expected, the Left is relentless in their attacks, simply because I defended my son against false narratives being taught in the classroom.

To those who may have missed it, I recently confronted my son’s history teacher, who falsely claimed that Leonardo da Vinci was gender fluid and that the Mona Lisa depicted his feminine side. Worse, the classroom was adorned with four large pride flags, pushing an agenda I could not ignore. After addressing the teacher, I shared my experience on X, which quickly went viral. The thread is linked below.

The Left is furious. They despise that I stood up for my child and that I refuse to let false narratives influence our children. This isn’t just about one incident; it’s about protecting every child from the dangers of gender ideology being pushed in our schools. The idea that gender fluidity is real is not grounded in fact, and pushing these lies on children is not only irresponsible but dangerous. We are seeing the tragic outcomes of rising mental health issues among our youth, and I refuse to let teachers and counselors make these decisions behind our backs.

This isn’t just about my son; this is about every child. I will always stand up for what is right, and no amount of trolling or criticism will change that. Parents have the God-given authority to raise their children, and I will continue to fight to ensure that this authority is respected. We’ve drawn a line in the sand, and we will not back down.

As we face these attacks, I’m reminded of what’s at stake in HD 39. The Left would love nothing more than to unseat this “Loud Mama Bear” fighting against their agenda. I will spare you the details of the hate mail I receive regularly or the lies spewed out by whole Facebook groups dedicated to removing me from office. What is important is that you know my Democrat opponent is gearing up, and your support is more critical than ever. Additionally, The Special Session is underway. Twenty-two bills have been introduced for property tax relief, and a resolution is in play to eliminate ballot initiatives FOREVER—a move that would be detrimental to all of us. At the end of the week, I will provide a specific update on the outcome. Continued prayers for Colorado Legislators to do the right thing for their constituents.

Thank you to everyone who has stood with me. I hope to encourage you to also stand for what is right in your sphere of influence. Now is not the time to be scared of what people might think- Let’s continue to fight for truth, protect our children, and preserve our values.

As we conclude this session, I want to share some key legislative highlights and reflect on the progress we've made: Over 700 bills were introduced in this session alone, marking 127 MORE bills than in 2023. HB24-1327- Sunset Physical Therapists

Concerning the continuation of the regulation of physical therapy practice and, in connection therewith, implementing the recommendations contained in the 2023 sunset report by the Department of Regulatory agencies.

• This was one of my favorite bills to work on! Physical Therapists should have their brand protected, and we should definitively be able to order X-rays and MRIs. Now, we will be able to do so! I am so thankful 1327 made it through the House and the Senate onto the Governor's desk!

Concerning measures to enhance the integrity of digital education materials in public schools.

• This bill ensured the integrity of digital education materials in public schools. Requiring contracts with vendors to include termination clauses for three instances of harmful content. It would have empowered parents, students, and school staff to report such material, ensuring swift removal within three business days. Unfortunately, this bill died on the Senate calendar- too little too late because the Democrats decided to play personal games, holding my bills hostage because of my "mean tweets". HB24-1123- Funding for School Safety Firearm Detection Systems

Concerning a program to fund the acquisition of firearm detection software for use in schools.

LAST ACTION: 03/21/2024 | House Committee on Education Refer Amended to Appropriations

• This bill had an interesting run-around that we were able to make in support of school safety. Maybe you recall my effort to fight to allocate $2 million for school safety for The Long Bill. Despite the obstructive efforts of Rep Epps and other Democrats in the Senate who voted against allocating $2 million from our budget to enhance school safety, the Joint Budget Committee recognized the importance of this amendment and approved it.  This change means we didn’t need 1123 anymore because we were able to get software included in the language under the school safety disbursement program. It's important to mention that two years ago, $30 million was allocated to school safety; last year, $16 million; and this year, I had to beg $2 million because the Democrats wanted to allot just over $100 for each school to use for school safety. Catch my thoughts on the subject here:

HB24-1092 - Minimum Sentence Crimes against Prostituted Children

Concerning requiring a minimum period of incarceration for persons who commit actions against prostituted children.

LAST ACTION: 02/15/2024 | House Committee on State, Civic, Military, & Veterans Affairs Postpone Indefinitely

• 1092 was a critical bill to combat human trafficking, especially child exploitation, and was defeated by Democrat legislators. Shockingly, sex trafficking of minors is probation-eligible in Colorado, allowing individuals to buy, solicit, pimp, or prostitute a child and receive only probation. We went to the legislature with overwhelming support – 36 for, 3 against, with not one lobbying firm opposing it. Despite this, Democrats voted it down 8-3. This CLEARLY means they are choosing offenders over the safety of our children. This bill made many people in Colorado hysterical because the Democrats defeated a reasonable bipartisan issue. It became national news, with Andrew Klaven highlighting it on the Daily Wire and Fox National News, even going viral on Twitter.

🚨 A Stark Reminder to Not Relent

Over the last few years, we have seen Douglas County gradually turn purple. I'm here to remind you that we must continue fighting for our conservative values, especially in Douglas County. It is not the time to relax thinking we are safe here in our beautiful county because if my time at the Capitol has taught me anything, it is that the Communist Democrats are relentless in their fight for power. I have no doubt their goal is to see our beautiful state turn into a liberal haven for criminals.

I'm looking forward to the races for this upcoming election cycle. This summer, I plan to help House Candidates in contested races so we can win back some seats in the House. Dear Constituents of House District 39,

As we approach the final days of the 2024 legislative session, I want to express my gratitude for your unwavering support. These past few weeks have been filled with long hours and countless battles to do what's best for our state.

To give you an idea of what this session has looked like, a total of 655 bills were introduced, with 450 coming from the House and 205 from the Senate. This year, we have 77 MORE bills introduced than in 2023. With Republicans in the minority, it's crucial to understand the significance of this legislation being pushed through. The democrat legislators are coming for your 2A, against your parental rights and local control, always finding ways to increase cost, and the aggressiveness they are coming to erase biological women in support of criminals is alarming.

With just 11 days left and more than 300 bills still pending, the path ahead is expected to be difficult. However, you can trust the remaining Republican legislators to persist and make decisions that are beneficial for Colorado. Let's also hope that some of the unfavorable bills fail to pass due to the limited time available!

In this critical time, my call to action is to ask for your prayers. Pray for our strength and fortitude as we face bills that threaten the well-being of our state. Pray for discernment as we navigate amendments to mitigate the harm of bad legislation. And pray for favor as we seek to win over the hearts of those who oppose us. Your prayers are a source of encouragement and support as we continue this fight.

HB24-1247 Digital Education Materials 

This bill passed committee and appropriations. We had scheduling issues on this one, as the Democrats love to mess with important bills like pornography in schools, so thank you to those who showed up twice to give public comment. This bill now moves to the House floor for second and third readings and then on to the Senate!

HB24-1430 Long Bill Amendment for School Safety Funding

Despite the obstructive efforts of Rep Epps and other Democrats in the Senate who voted against allocating $2 million from our budget to enhance school safety, the Joint Budget Committee recognized the importance of this amendment and approved it. It's disheartening to see what we're up against, especially when a mere $103 per school was initially deemed sufficient for safety measures. We must prioritize our children's safety above all else. Thank you, Rep. English, for your support in this effort, and thank you to the Joint Budget Committee for your correct decision on this matter.

The House has passed HB24-1327 on its third reading, and now it is headed to the Senate for further consideration. As a Physical Therapist myself, I am thrilled to be part of this bill, which aims to protect the brand of physical therapists and give them the authority to order X-rays and MRIs. This is one of my favorite bills, and I am proud to be a part of it!

Gun Ownership Saves Lives: Our fight for gun rights continues as we emphasize the importance of self-defense and protection, particularly for vulnerable groups. Gun ownership saves lives and many of the bills put forth by my Democrat peers will disproportionally hurt single, poor, and elderly women because limiting guns eliminates the greatest equalizer we have. Three million crimes have been prevented by guns yet the Democrats want to give hugs to remedy Gun VIOLENCE - I’ll give you hugs AND protect you with my firearm. I will always fight for our 2A.

Fighting for Your Second Amendment Rights: Despite our efforts, the Assault Weapons Ban HB24-1292 passed the House with a vote of 35-27-3. The Communist Reps celebrated this blatant disregard for our 2A rights. We must vote these communist out and win more seats in the House.

Advocating for the Preborn: I spoke at the March For Life at the Capitol earlier this month. We have the most radical and extreme abortion laws in the country - it is appalling. We are a pro-murder state -I refuse to be quiet on this issue. We will continue to stand for God and for the unborn and will make our voices loud and clear that EVERYONE deserves a chance at life! Defending Local Control - HB24-1313 -This move to mandate high-density, transient communities usurps local control and will significantly impact DougCO. This isn't responsible governance, and we shouldn't undermine local autonomy. Setting density goals should be a local decision; a one-size-fits-all approach isn't suitable. Let's empower local governments to find reasonable solutions tailored to their communities instead of imposing mandates on us
