A surprised boy at a computer, with text on internet exposure statistics and a message to support HB25-1158. Classroom setting.

Parents, did you know that your child’s schoolwork could be exposing them to ads for alcohol, gambling, guns, vapes, and even pornography? It’s happening right here in Colorado. Big tech companies are embedding ads in educational platforms, taking advantage of students when they’re most vulnerable—while learning in a classroom.

This is unacceptable. Our kids deserve to be educated, not exploited. That’s why I’m fighting for HB25-1158: Digital Education Materials —a commonsense bill that:

Bans harmful advertising in school resources.

Holds vendors accountable for content in digital tools.

Protects teachers and schools from liability.

Ensures taxpayers aren’t funding this exploitation.

Standing for Life

I will always stand for life in our state, and I was honored to honor my daughter and the sanctity of life while Democrats put forth a joint resolution to celebrate abortion. Take a listen to my comments.

HB25-1073

We secured a Democrat co-prime sponsor, and all Colorado district attorneys unanimously support this bill. Unfortunately, it is headed to the Judiciary Committee with Representatives Mabrey, Bacon, and Yara, who have already signaled opposition. If they kill it, we will push it as a ballot initiative. Stay tuned for press conferences and ways to get involved!

Fighting High Prices – The Right Way

Retail theft is driving up costs for all of us. My bill tackles this issue head-on, but Democrats think HB25-1010 (a price-gouging bill) is the solution. Here’s why it’s not:

Here’s a contrast between HB25-1010 and my bill, which focused on punishing theft to maintain a free market and capitalism:

House Bill 25-1010: Price Gouging Restrictions
  • Undermines the Free Market: Price controls interfere with the natural balance of supply and demand, preventing competition from working to lower costs.

  • Destroys Capitalism: If businesses cannot adjust prices based on market conditions, they cannot cover increasing costs, leading to shortages, fewer goods, and, ultimately, business closures.

  • Fails to Address the Real Problem: Retailers raise prices not out of greed but in response to theft, supply chain issues, and inflation. This bill penalizes businesses instead of criminals, further driving up costs.

The Alternative: Punishing Theft to Lower Costs
  • Protects Consumers: When businesses lose inventory due to theft, they pass those costs onto customers. Enforcing strict penalties for theft will reduce losses and naturally stabilize prices.

  • Preserves Capitalism & the Free Market: Instead of government mandates, businesses will compete fairly, ensuring better prices and product availability.

  • Encourages Personal Responsibility: Those who commit crimes should face consequences—shifting blame to businesses only leads to economic collapse.

Bottom Line: Government price controls won’t make goods cheaper—they’ll make them scarcer. The real solution is stopping theft, not punishing businesses.

J6 Prisoners Released

I was honored to assist in the release of J6 prisoners after President Trump’s pardons, particularly those in Colorado who were unfairly detained. There are two sides to every story—here’s one about Patrick: KDVR Story.

Title IX Victory!

On the Jeff & Bill Show, I discussed a massive victory for Moms For Liberty!

A federal court vacated Biden’s radical Title IX rule nationwide. This is a win for:

  • Protecting girls' privacy in locker rooms and showers

  • Freedom of speech for using biologically accurate pronouns Even The New York Times shows the majority of Americans support the GOP stance on these issues!

Election Integrity – Why I Didn’t Certify

My vote to not certify the election should be applauded—especially since I won my race! Election integrity matters no matter the outcome. I am proud to stand with the six Republicans who voted against certifying.

  • Voter roll discrepancies, even in my district

  • No proof that BIOS passwords weren’t compromised

  • Violations of FEDERAL election standards (watch @COrepKdeGraaf testimony!)

Meanwhile, Secretary of State Jena Griswold blames Republicans for her unverified death threats instead of addressing election security. Colorado voters turned out in massive numbers this year not because they trust our elections but because they hope Trump’s victory will be too big to rig.

A huge shoutout to @COrepKdeGraaf, @RepScottBottoms, and Rep. Stephanie Luck for exposing Colorado’s election corruption. The people of this state aren’t buying the lies anymore!

Let’s keep fighting for truth and freedom! Stay tuned for updates, and as always, thank you for your support.

Happy New Year! I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas season filled with joy and blessings. As we welcome 2025, I am hitting the ground running at the Colorado State Capitol. The new legislative session kicks off on Wednesday, January 8th, and I am honored and humbled to represent House District 39 for another year. Over the next 120 days, I will continue to be boldly conservative and proudly American, fighting for our shared values.

Key Bills I’m Championing this Legislative Session

Here is a briefing of what I've been working on. Stay tuned for more on each bill:

Digital Media Bill

(Previously HB24-1247)

I am bringing this bill back because it aims to enhance the integrity of digital educational materials in our public schools. It ensures our kids’ online safety by allowing schools to terminate contracts with digital providers that show harmful content such as pornography, sex toys, and vape ads. Additionally, it requires transparency for parents regarding digital materials and library contracts. This is about protecting our children and empowering parents.

Child Rape Bill (Sentencing for Child Sexual Assault)

Last session, I learned that protecting kids from trafficking is only part of the battle. We need stronger laws to hold perpetrators of child sexual assault accountable. This bill is a critical step in safeguarding the most vulnerable among us.

Key Points of the Bill:

  • Sexual abuse is the worst form of abuse a person can endure, with lifelong consequences.

  • Perpetrators of child sexual abuse have a high rate of repeat offenses.

Bill Summary:

  • Section 1: Convicted offenders (Felony 4) must serve at least the minimum sentence without eligibility for probation.

  • Section 2: Persons of trust convicted (Felony 3 or 4) must serve at least the minimum sentence without probation.

  • Section 3: Offenders convicted of sexual assault against a child will face mandatory incarceration.

Retail Theft Bill

This bill addresses the rising tide of retail theft, which has impacted businesses across our state. I’ve teamed up with incredible local fighters to create a solution that protects businesses and promotes a flourishing Colorado.

Stay tuned for more updates.

The Dysphoria Act

Titled “Defending Youth from Sterilization, Psychological Harm, and Irreversible Alteration,” this bill aims to protect children from being groomed into life-altering and harmful decisions. Grooming underage children into irreversible changes is wrong, and I will continue to stand up for our youth. More details will follow in upcoming bulletins.

Committee Assignments

This session, I’m proud to serve in the following roles:

  • House State, Civic, Military & Veterans Affairs Committee

  • Colorado Youth Advisory Council Committee

  • Ranking Member of the House Health & Human Services Committee

🚨Call to Action

I truly appreciate the prayers and encouragement you pour on me, but as I enter this legislative session, I need you most to stand with me IN ACTION.

The left has a well-organized army pushing harmful legislation; we, as conservatives, need to rise to the challenge! The principles we stand for are righteous and worthy of our fight-  I will be your voice at the Well, and when I call for public comment or attendance at the Capitol, I urge you to join me.

I would love to have you under the dome, but virtual testimony is available if that's not an option. So, if any of my bills tug at your heart and you feel inclined to learn how to get involved, respond to this email. I will connect you with my team to keep you in the loop and help prepare you! Let’s stand together to protect Colorado’s future and speak out against what grieves God’s heart.

It’s time to be bold and ready for action—Colorado needs you!

Thank you for standing with me as we fight for faith, family, and freedom. This bulletin will update you on key legislation and issues to watch and share far and wide!

Let’s make 2025 a year of action and impact!
